Community Outreach Event
January 20.2015  CASA Gala

On January 20, 2015, eight SAFD members arranged 153 silver julep cups of blue hydrangeas and polar star white roses in a record 2-1/2 hours all for Casa Gala at the Woodlands Marriott. Mallory with A Memorable Event lead our group. Y’all did a wonderful job ladies!!! This was just one of the many charitable organizations SAFD provides fresh floral arrangements for use in their fundraising efforts. We provided the women power and made a $1000 dollar contribution toward the flowers for this event.



Community Outreach Workshop

Thursday Febraury 26, 2015   Seeds of Faith

Community Outreach once again helped our local community by providing 24 table centerpieces for the Seeds of Faith Gala, benefitting the Turner Syndrome Community.  The event was held on 2/26/15 in the Woodlands.  Fourteen SAFD members met to make the arrangements.  This event was chaired by Debbie McNerney and Dianne Abrahams.  The colors were chosen per the Leaping Butterfly logo, in deep purple, gold and green.   

Turner Syndrome is a chromosomal condition that affects more than 1 out of every 2,000 females with such conditions as:

          Short stature        Kidney, Thyroid, Liver Issues

          Heart Defects      Non-verbal Learning Difficulties
