SAFD is a growing floral design club for the
Houston, Spring and Woodlands area.
We have members from places like Memorial, Spring, Klein, Tomball and the Woodlands. Membership in SAFD is open to men and women. The only requirement is that you have an interest in learning about flowers and floral arranging.
Skill level in our club ranges from professional florist all the way down to "be careful with those scissors". If you have any questions, you can contact any of the board members on the contact page.

In House Scholarship Information
SAFD SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE PRESENTS $5,000 WORTH OF MERIT AWARDS OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS FOR 2009
Our committee has worked with Dianna Doss Nordman, AAF, Executive Director of the Texas Floral Endowment (TFE) of the Texas State Floral Association who will sponsor five scholarships.
The TFE will collect the scholarship applications and make the decisions based on references, merit and the application essay (if required). The winners will be notified sometime in mid-April. Deadline for entry is MARCH 30,2009.
